Important Information About Covid-19 School Closing March 17-April 20, 2020
The past several weeks have been difficult as we have watched the COVID-19 health crisis impact countries around the world, and now there are confirmed cases in Chicago. Governor Pritzker announced that all Illinois schools, including Chicago Public Schools will close beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020. On March 19, 2020, Mayor Lori Lightfoot announced that all Chicago Public Schools will remain closed until April 21, 2020 when classes are scheduled to resume. School sponsored activities, events, field trips and athletic events are also cancelled during this time. Check the CPS website for additional information and updates at www.cps.edu.
CPS Student Enrichment Learning Resources
CPS prepared educational enrichment activities to support student learning while schools are closed due to COVID-19. The packets include a range of activities that students can work on independently or with help from an adult.
Check Out Our New School Uniform!

Check Out Our New School Uniform! We are happy to add additional options to our school uniforms. Our students will be dressed in Black Polo styled shirts with our school name, logo and mascot (Panther) on the front. To compliment our shirts, students will wear khaki pants. Families may select short/long sleeve polo uniform shirts, gym t-shirts, shorts or jogging pants, and sweatshirts with crew necks or hoodies. Additionally, families may select their own khaki pants.

GoCPS_lnk

GoCPS is a new online system that makes it easier to apply to Chicago Public Schools.

We believe that all of Chicago's children and their families deserve access to quality education options that meet their needs and interests, including neighborhood schools, which every child is always eligible to attend. This is central to our mission of preparing our school children for success in college, career, and civic life.

CPS offers a wide variety of school and program options for students attending high school, elementary, and preschool. GoCPS is the central hub for learning, researching, exploring, and applying to them. To find out more information, visit: http://go.cps.edu/
